Tereza says: ,,In my work, I’m learning to let go of control. To let myself be led. I’m letting go of old patterns and the need to solve everything. Water dominates my process. An element that is often untamable in nature. And so it is on my canvas. I use it to dilute the intensity and density of the colours. By following my intuition and moving my body in to the rythm, I lead the water across the canvas. I am her guide. I don’t know what will come out. And at the same time I let myself be guided. In the present moment, I don’t know what I’m doing. If I were to visually evaluate my work in the moment, I am often dissatisfied. What helps me is my feeling with which I create. If I feel somehow inner good, I know I’m going in the right direction. The end result won’t show until the next day. When everything is dry. I love those moments when I come back to the studio and see what we’ve created. Me and the water.”
